CONCEPT CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION TO BUILD NEW SPCA

May 16, 2016 -  West Seneca, New York -- Concept Construction Corporation, specialists in construction management,

 general construction, and design-build services has been selected by the SPCA Serving Erie County to act as  Construction

Manager for its facility located at  300 Harlem Road, West Seneca, NY.

 

Overseeing all phases of construction for the new $14.9 million state of the art facility, Concept Construction Corporation

is excited to be part of such and important regional project and looks forward to working with new SPCA Executive Director,

Mr. Gary Willoughby and the SPCA board.

 

The new facility will be built on a 10 acre parcel of land on Harlem Road.  The plans call for the  52,000 sq. ft. main structure

include an independent facility for Admissions and Adoptions, the Lipse Veterinary Clinic with on-site veterinarians and dedicated

education and outreach services spaces.  There  are 61 kennels and cat “condos,” plenty of play and exercise space, a distinct

Wildlife rehabilitation environment, and a barn for farm animals.   New Executive Director Gary Willoughby says that “with

careful planning and design efforts, we are confident that we are building a facility that will address not only the concerns of

today, but for those well into our future.” 

 

Preliminary site work began in March 2016 and the project is expected to be completed in early 2017.  A formal groundbreaking

ceremony is scheduled to be held today at 11AM.
